We are proud to promote and recommend our wide selection of Divan Waterbeds.  These are British made to the highest quality with wonderful Headboards and a stunning array of colours and fabrics to suit a great variety of decor schemes.   On the assumption that the customer understands already the benefits of a waterbed there are a further three important considerations for the customer to make a good choice of bed.

1.  Height of mattress from the floor.  Bed frame styles determine the height of the mattress from the floor.  Generally this is 18 inches but can be less or more depending on the style of frame.   The Divan style can be varied to suit the preferences of the customer without affecting the symmetry and balance of the bed.  It is offered with a standard height of 21 inches but should a different height be requested it will be provided. 

2. Headboard Height.  The most important visual and aesthetic part of the bed.  Most bed frames come with a headboard height from floor of 3 feet.  The Divan Headboards provided by Better Waterbeds come with a standard height of 4 feet from floor and there are a variety of excellent styles available and made in the U.K. with the highest standards of craftsmanship.  Any of these styles can be had with a marvellous choice of colours and fabrics.  Should a still greater height of headboard be desired it can be provided and there are some fabulous styles available.

3. Sides of bed showing below bedding.  Another vital aesthetic attribute of a beautiful bed.  The Divan waterbeds provided by Better Waterbeds have pedestals supporting the bed with a fabric covering the same as the headboard material, to complete a perfect complement to an outstanding ensemble.

The fabrics offered are Chenille, Plush Velvet, Crushed Velvet, Linen and Faux Leather and samples of these are available for inspection before you buy.  Colours available are indicated in the pictures.  The base pedestals for the Divan waterbed  are in the same fabric as the Headboard and drawer versions are available too.  For those headboards with buttons, these can be had in Diamante Crystal or matching Fabric.  And further great news is that these superior quality products are fantastic value for money.

Delivery and installation can usually be carried out within two weeks of ordering, often sooner.
